I LOVE CSH GIVING DAY INFLUENCER & AMBASSADOR ACTIVATION

I Love CSH Giving Day is an annual day of giving intended to raise awareness for the hospital and the critical need for donations to CSH Foundation.

Every year, on the second Tuesday in June, this year June 10, we launch a campaign that activates our influencers and ambassadors to help us expand our reach, increase engagement, and reach our fundraising goal.

POST DATE: JUNE 10

OBJECTIVE: RAISE $24,000 IN 24 HOURS ON OUR ANNUAL DAY OF GIVING

TACTICS:

  1. CREATE A VIDEO SHARING WHY YOU LOVE CSH AND ENCOURAGE THE PUBLIC TO GIVE ON THIS DAY OF GIVING. (SEE EXAMPLE VIDEO SCRIPT BELOW)

  2. DRAW A PICTURE OF WHY YOU LOVE CSH.

  3. PROVIDE A QUOTE ON WHY YOU LOVE CSH.

MESSAGE: CREATE A MESSAGE IN YOUR OWN WORDS THAT HIGHLIGHTS WHY YOU LOVE CSH, EMPHASIZES THE IMPACT OF DONATIONS TO CSH, AND CREATES A SENSE OF URGENCY FOR THE PUBLIC TO DONATE ON THIS SPECIFIC DAY.

Greeting

  • Hi my name is (include your name), I’m a patient/parent at CSH.

  • Briefly explain your connection to CSH. (Ex: I became a patient at CSH after suffering an AVM rupture at soccer practice.)

  • Explain how Children’s Specialized has impacted your life and what it is you love about the hospital. Be sure to include a hook that encourages people to keep watching:

    • “Kids like me need your help.”

    • “Did you know that one in five children is living with a chronic illness or complex medical condition that affects their ability to learn and grow.”

Storytelling & Social Proof

  • Explain why “the hook” from your greeting matters to you and your connection to Children’s Specialized Hospital using a story about your personal experience with the hospital.

  • Highlight a specific moment in your journey and highlight how much donations have made an impact on their outcome (ex: equipment like the spider cage or programs like the Family Nurse Educator Program.

Call to Action

  • Ask the public to donate to help kids like you/yours get the care they need to learn and grow.

Create a Sense of Urgency

  • Urge people to give TODAY to help us reach our $24,000 goal.

  • Remind them what the cause means to you.

Close with Gratitude

  • Thank the public for supporting local kids on I Love CSH Day.
